What Tidzy is

You never remember what a file is called. You remember what was in it. Tidzy searches the way you think: type "wifi password" and it finds the screenshot, or "pdfs from gmail last week" and there they are.

It reads the text in every screenshot, photo and PDF on your Mac, so you can search by what a file says. Press ⌘T on any file to see every line it read and copy it out.

It also tidies up: old installers, forgotten downloads and duplicates, sorted by space freed. It renames screenshots from the words inside them, finds passwords and ID scans left lying around, and shows where every download came from. Nothing is deleted without asking, and every action can be undone.

Everything runs on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no uploads. For anyone whose Desktop and Downloads have become a mess, which is most of us.
